my birthday

For my 23rd birthday (back in june) Brayden woke me up bright & early, about 6:00am! but wounldn't tell me where we were going. We headed up the canyon and when we got as far as silver lake he reached in the back & handed me a present. It was the pair of Keens that i had been eyeing every time we were at cabelas. They are so pimp! So with my new kicks, we started our hike up to the... uh...upper silver lake?(i can't believe i don't know what the lake is called!) Anyways, we had never hiked it before & it was awesome, what a gorgeous day! I couldn't have asked for a better birthday surprise. He is the best!!!

independence day

This year we woke up early to see the hot air balloons at provo's freedom festival. Hayden loved it & i took way too many pics as usual!





























We celebrated the rest of the 4th with family. We had a bbq & then wathched the thanksgiving point fireworks. Hayden had a short attention span & ran around for most of it(thank heaven for grandparents!) We made a fire & roasted mallows for smores, and did our own fireworks til 3! Im not sure our neighbors enjoyed our show ;) It was really nice for brayden to have the whole day off, it seems like he is always missing out on all the fun & we are missing out on all the brayden!
