Winter wonderland
I forgot to take a picture of our snowman, which is quite a shame because me & Hayd worked our butts off to make it! Well, more like froze our fingers off! Hayden had on those cheap knit gloves, and I had none, stupid I know. I am alot more prepared for warmer weather than anything remotely winterish and Im not ashamed of it! Lets just say I am struggling to keep my sandals and flip flops off my feet :( I guess frostbite would kinda suck.
Gingerbread Houses
Making grahmcracker gingerbread houses is one of my favorite Sermon traditions. Last year Hayden was only interested in eating the candy, but this year we set him loose with the frosting! He had so much fun!
This charming little cottage comes complete with a fully fenced yard, the three bears family (mom, dad & Hayden) and, with help from Alexa, a brand new car!
My favorite detail is the huge purple gumdrop that he says is the "ding dong"
This years creation may not have been my best, but I was a little smarter this year. I filled my house with all the good stuff before sealing it off :)
Ummm... yes Brayden's is made of cardboard. I am so glad he participates! Someday he'll admit how much fun he has being creative.
